Website was hacked and now I have to restore it…

    I recently had my website hacked, due to some plugins that were not updated properly…I just had the designer resend a zip file to me with all of the folders that he created for my WP site. It was a custom theme and I wanted to learn how to go about reinstalling this on my site and the proper way to do it. I have WP running at my domain I just need some guidance on reinstalling what he sent me. If anyone can shed some light or point me in the direction of a great tutorial I would be very appreciative.

    Thanks semi!

    Just to clarify my designer sent me a back-up copy of all the files. I’m thinking that i need to ftp these files to my site in order to update them. I need to know what folders would I FTP and the proper procedure to do this.
