Website will not connect to WordPress.com

I had my hobby website utilizing Jetpack with my business wordpress.com account, so I disconnected it and uninstalled Jetpack. I think set up a wordpress.com account for the hobbyist website, reinstalled jetpack, and it refuses to connect. I’ve tried all of the basic things such as deleting Jetpack and reinstalling, deactivating all other plugins to see if there is a conflict, attempted to connect with the gmail account, and signing out and signing back into to my wordpress.com account. I ran the Jetpack debugger and it tells me “Could not validate security token” and to disconnect and reconnect Jetpack, which of course I wish I could do!
