Website willl not load and I cannot login – again

  • Three months ago I had a problem with my Dutch website which would not load. https://www.moedertjegroen.nl

    This problem has came up again and I connot solve it.

    I am using the Nirvana theme.

    When I try to load my dutch site I get the following error.

    I have replaced the functions.php file with a new copy which I downloaded from www.ads-software.com. This didn’t solve the problem.

    (By the way why are there 2 functions.php files? One is in my themes directory and the other, that is causing the problem is in the wp-includes directory.)

    I have tried to change the name of my themes folder using FTP but the site will not load the default twentysixteen theme.

    Tips and advice as to how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Update:

    Via FTP I have uploaded the theme again to my site.
    I cleared the browse cache and entered the URL of my site.
    All pages appeared to be in order ??

    However when I tried to log in I saw the white screen with the error message shown in my first post. after clearing my cache again I entered the site URL but only a white screen with the same error message appeared.

    I repeated this process to check this behavior and the same thing happened.

    Any info or tips woulld be greatly appreciated.

    Try this way.

    1. Get backup using FTP or Cpanel both file and DB (Its important)
    2. Remove all plugin folders in wp-content/plugins/
    3. Then try to login, Once its working you can install plugin one by one so you can find out the plaugin which is have bugs

    90% sure this file (function.pnp) not have bug

    Have renamed my Plugins directory deactivated.plugins

    Still cannot log in.

    Now I get a white screen with this message:

    Just try to restore only /plugins/wp-super-cache folder

    No its not a bug.

    Can you seen errorlog file on your base folder

    Hey

    Remove www in front of your url https://moedertjegroen.nl/

    Its working and go to your admin page and update permalink settings

    Where exactly should I find the errorlog file?

    public_html folder you can access using FTP or CPanel

    Thanks for your help. I restored the site from my ISP server backup! Now All is ok again. Will watch out when updating the plugins in the future.
