Website won't load

Hello,
When you type my URL (www.YourLowMortgage.ca) you get an error “Error establishing a database connection). My website was hacked a couple of days ago, but according to the note the hacker left me, he only changed an index file in my theme….to show me my site’s security was lacking….so nice of him.

I have since replaced that Index file and manually updated to the latest WordPress software via FTP. I am also unable to access my wordpress admin panel online. I changed my database password after the hack and also changed it in the config.php file. Is there anything else I am missing?
