i have published 20 web stories and i had no issues now i m trying to open the editor it crashes within a minute and it is so annoying to see the editor crashing within just minuts , i just tried to trouble shoot the plugin , i disabled all the plugins and the editor was still crashing

and the same problem was with the media library I think something is wrong with it , images when i try to open media library it crashes .

Then i tried to deactivate plugin one by one and checking and the editor was still crashing ,

somebody tell me what to do coz i think i did the basic testing and still didnt work it

@aamu Thanks for the details. Could you please also share the following information to help us with this:

    1. Your Site Health Information. You can share this using our private form
    2. Do you see any console errors when this happens?
    3. The exact steps taken before the crash happens

If possible a recording of your experience would be useful. You can use a service such as Loom to record and share the URL here.

@csine Please could you open your own individual topic for this with the requested information above and we will be happy to help you there.

@aamu Thanks for sharing the information, you can share the Loom recording by pasting the URL into this chat.

Could I also ask you to check if you still get this message if you disable the ‘Video Optimization‘ setting from?Stories > Settings?

I disabled vedio optimisation , and the editor still crashes but mostly when i try to write the tittle and when i try to upload the images , and the recent imges bar is showing nothing it used to show previous images used in stories

@aamu Thank you for confirming. Can I please ask you who your hosting provider is? I’d also recommend checking in with the host to see if they can spot anything that could cause this to happen.

Could you also let me know if you experience the same crash when running through these troubleshooting steps. If you no longer experience the crash while in troubleshooting mode this indicates there is a plugin or theme conflict causing this.

Let me know if you have any questions on the above.

    hostinger ,

okay @adam i,m gonna troubleshoot and check it again , i will let you know if there is any conflict between the plugins , i hope the issue gets resolved or it will stay the same way as it is , the plugin needs time to develop into the best version

@aamu Thanks a lot and please let me know how this goes. We will also troubleshoot on our side to try and replicate. If we have any update then we will let you know here.

@aamu Could I ask what your Chrome browser version is?

Have you checked if the same issue occurs in a Chrome incognito window?

Could you please list the steps in detail to reproduce this issue?

If possible could you please try these steps again:

    1. Disable all other plugins except Web Stories and use a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Two
    2. Open the latest version of Chrome incognito window
    3. Enable video optimization settings
    4. Upload images/videos one by one and wait until processing is finished before uploading the next one

    Thank you.
