    I’d like your assistance regarding a recent issue I encountered after updating to version 1.33.0 of Google Web Stories. Specifically, I am unable to locate the familiar page turn and other events that were previously available in the old Google Analytics (GA) interface.

    Prior to the update, I heavily relied on these events to gather crucial data about user engagement and the completion rates of my web stories. Unfortunately, since transitioning to GA4, I have been unable to find the equivalent events or a comparable way to track page turns, story completions, and other clicks in each story.

    With the change to GA4 the type of data that’s being sent to GA shouldn’t really have changed, but I know it can be difficult to locate this kind of data.

    I’d suggest to consult the Google Analaytics help center and community, as that’s the best place to get answers for your questions.

    Hi Team,

    I’m experiencing difficulty tracking any events on the web stories details page. Could you kindly assist me with the process?

    I’ve inserted the code below onto the page, but unfortunately, tracking isn’t functioning as expected.

    <amp-analytics data-credentials=”include” config=”https://amp.analytics-debugger.com/ga4.json&#8221; type=”googleanalytics”><script type=”application/json”>{
    “vars”: {
    “GA4_MEASUREMENT_ID”: “G-*******”,
    “GA4_ENDPOINT_HOSTNAME”: “www.google-analytics.com”,
    “DEFAULT_PAGEVIEW_ENABLED”: true,
    “GOOGLE_CONSENT_ENABLED”: false,
    “WEBVITALS_TRACKING”: false,
    “PERFORMANCE_TIMING_TRACKING”: false,
    “SEND_DOUBLECLICK_BEACON”: false,
    “DISABLE_REGIONAL_DATA_COLLECTION”: false,
    “ENHANCED_MEASUREMENT_SCROLL”: false
    }
    }

    @rahulattrey Hi there, please open a new support topic for your inquiry instead of replying on a months-old unrelated thread we’re no longer monitoring.

    Please note that we don’t really support any third-party analytics providers. If you want to track your stories in GA4, simply enter your measurement ID on the settings page. And if you want to use your custom code but it’s not working as expected, reach out to whomever provided you that custom code.
