    Hello,

    Every week we get the “Weekly Report” which contains the total of inquiries made via our form(s). What seems weird is that the sum is a running total of inquiries made via the forms since the WP Forms plugin was installed. So this is not truly a “Weekly Report”.

    It seems silly to have a weekly report with running totals if they are not going to be compared to last weeks or any other previous weekly report’s totals.

    I propose the following:

    Implement a way that the weekly report can be zeroed, perhaps by a toggle that will automatically zero the counter after the report is sent, so the following week’s report will actually represent the weeks totals.

    or

    Implement a running total in PLUS a weekly total in the report.

    I apologize for any trouble here!

    In WPForms Lite we only show a running total since the free version of WPForms does not have the feature to store entries. However, if at any point you decide to upgrade to the paid version of WPForms, you’ll be able to start collecting any future entries and the weekly email summaries would then show a total only for the previous week.

    I can understand though why seeing a weekly amount of entries in the email summary from WPForms Lite would be helpful though! I’ve taken note of this feedback and will be sharing it with the rest of our team to discuss further.

    I’ve just wasted half an hour trying to find why the “Weekly Report” doesn’t match the number of emails actually recieved in the last week.

    I realise that you see weekly emails as a good marketing opportunity, but the misleading subject line reflects badly on your product, in my opinion.

    The Email Summary you receive while using WPForms Lite shows a running total of entries for your forms. In case it helps, I’ve included our guide to Email Summaries here.
