weForms Professional not auto-updating – version mismatch errors

The base weForms plugin auto-updated to version 1.3.1. No updates were reported available for weForms Pro, which was at 1.2.4. In the admin panel, nothing would load in the weForms area. No forms or entries were visible. No errors showed on the screen but there was no way to access anything within the weForms panel.
Deactivating weForms Pro allowed access to the weForms panel. Logging in at weForms I found that weForms Pro 1.3.0 was available. Since the system was not reporting an update available my only option was to deactivate and delete weForms Pro 1.2.4 and then install the newly downloaded version 1.3.0.
After updating weForms Pro to 1.3.0 the admin panels and entry exports worked again.
Why did WP not report an update available for weForms Pro. Losing access to the weForms panel in WP was very frustrating.
The range of bugs I’ve had with weForms and now weForms Pro — email delivery issues, entry export issues, reCaptcha issues, and now version mismatch/admin access issues, makes me wonder if this isn’t just being developed on the fly with your users as testers.
I like the tools and the form creator in weForms. But a paid plugin that costs this much should not have this many bugs.
