    Hi,

I am using the Weight Based Shipping plugin on my WooCommerce site along with the Google Listings & Ads plugin. However, I am encountering an issue where the weight-based shipping rates are not syncing with Google Merchant Center. If I select free shipping or flat rate shipping, they sync correctly, but the weight-based shipping does not.

    More Info

Try to add weight base shipping manually in my Google Merchant Center. I saw only two value Kilograms and Pounds (https://postimg.cc/bZLDfM8t), and my website in grams (https://postimg.cc/rdKmXwQB)

Could you please help me resolve this issue?

    Thank you.

Hi @shaaz786 , Since you are using a weigh-based shipping configuration via a custom plugin, please use the option to configure shipping information directly in Merchant Centre to ensuring the values as accurate. Auto-syncing will not help result in accurate results.
We have documentation on this here.

    Hi Saravanan,

Thank you for your valuable reply.

I reviewed the documentation, but I couldn’t find a way to sync weight-based shipping. I have over 50 rows, and manually creating more than 25 rows isn’t feasible (API Require (For any weight ranges over 25 rows, we recommend using the API.?Learn more?open_in_new).

Additionally, my website’s product weights are set in grams, but when I attempt to create weight-based shipping in Google Merchant Center, the options only show metrics in kilograms and pounds—not grams.

Is there a way to automatically sync weight-based shipping? Currently, it’s not syncing, and it’s showing that I have 0 shipping methods. Could you please guide me on how to resolve this issue?

    Hey there @shaaz786 ,

Looks like you misunderstood your response.

Please setup the shipping information directly in Google Merchant centre, as Google For WooCommerce will not sync advanced configurations like yours. You will need to ensure you disable shipping setting sync in your Google For WooCommerce configuration.

I understand that there’s no way to auto-sync the (Weight-Based Shipping) Advance Shipping. So, I need to avoid syncing shipping and manually enter all my shipping details in Google Merchant Center, right?

However, I have a question: Google Merchant Center only allows me to add a maximum of 25 rows, but I have more than 50 rows to enter. How can I manage this? as shown in this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/1f3KJrfQ.

When I try to add more than 25 rows, I receive this message: “For any weight ranges over 25 rows, we recommend using the API. Learn more.” How should I proceed? I’m really sorry for the noob questions, but only you can answer, thank you in advance

    Hi there @shaaz786,

Sounds like you are making good progress on manually entering your shipping information to your Google Merchant account, which is the best approach for complex shipping rules like this.

I do understand that you have reached the limit for manual entry of rates in your account. As our plugin does not allow you to push complex shipping rules such as weight-based rules via the Google Merchant API, you would have to write some custom API calls to load in this data.

I would recommend reaching out to Google Merchant Center support to better understand your options here. If there is any way you could simplify your rates for Google, that might be the easiest approach – note that the shipping rates shown on Google are meant to be estimates, so you could perhaps collapse your weight ranges into larger spans.

But again, I would recommend asking Google themselves for some options here.
