Weight based rules disappeared

The plugin doesn’t have a function to change your rules in background. Changes are only supposed to persist when you save them manually.

I also never heard about the issue from other plugin users.

Given that, the issue looks specific to your WordPress configuration. Plugin settings might be reverting back to the initial empty state due to something changing your database, e.g. backup restore routine.

Another possible case is caching. In that the case, for some reason, you see a stale plugin settings page state, however your shipping rules are actually there. To be clear, the plugin doesn’t cache it’s settings page. That however might be caused by another caching plugin if you have one installed.

I realise the plugin won’t be doing this randomly. I don’t have a caching plugin and my backups are done manually. Is there anything else that might be able to cause the plugin to stop working? My other plugins don’t do this. As you can understand when this happens all of a sudden my customers can’t complete their purchase and I’d like to get to the bottom of this issue.

The only way to resolve an issue is to find a way to reproduce it. Once you figure out how to do that, I can help you investigating it.

same problem here. Updated from 4.2.3 to 5.1.0 and the shipping rules disappear every time I leave the settings page. Caching plugin deactivated, browser cache cleared, latest WordPress & Woocommerce. Tried it with Chrome Version 55.0.2883.95 (64-bit) and Safari Version 10.1.2 (11603.3.8).

Hello, Same problem here, after updating to the latest version of the plugin all our weight based shipping rules disappeared and stopped working. Based on the discussion here we reverted back to version 4.2.2 and it worked again. Upon ugrading once more, our shipping rules in the back end disappeared.
Please help

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
