• I have a weird issue with WordPress 2.7 regarding themes. There is two copies of my custom theme in the appearance admin page, and whenever I change the code in a file (say, the index.php) and upload it, I have to activate the ‘other’ copy of the theme in the appearance page to see the changes I made. Needless to say, I do not have two copies of the same theme uploaded on my server. Is this supposed to happen?

It is still doing the same thing, which is making it excruciatingly slow to make updates to my code. Any solutions?

Why would I need to activate my theme every time I change a little snippet of code? Is this some sort of security feature or something, and if it his, how do I turn it off!!

Maybe a similar issue, but WP 2.7 (and some prior versions) never see the active theme as active, and the directory containing the files is displayed as an empty reference.
