    If you go to the url for any individual post or page, i.e. ‘Chat’
    The black line that holds all my Pages at the top is not aligned correctly. Also, some of my text, i.e. the words “Other Expectations” under my page “Chat”, is also aligned strangely.
    Help please ??

  • There appears to be an extra “<” character on your pages, perhaps within your page.php template. This character is creating a one-line space at the very top of the page and this in turn is creating your layout issues.

    Once you resolve (i.e. remove) this character issue you should see your page(s) layout match your home page.

    Take a look at the W3C Validation report for one of your pages, it may help with finding the “extra” character.

    Hope that helps …

    Hi I looked at your validation report. I really did try to fix it on my own, but the instructions for the errors are too complicated/obscure. And I couldnt pinpoint which error was causing my main problem or how to fix it

    These are the first five lines from the source of the page:

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "https://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="https://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" dir="ltr" lang="en-US">
    <head profile="https://gmpg.org/xfn/11">
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
    		<title>Club Penguin Coin Codes | The Club Penguin Cheats</title> <

    Notice the “<” character at the end of line 5.

    Although they may not match up, look within your header.php template file … search for the text string ‘</title>’ (no quotes) and see if you can locate the extra character that way. Once that is resolved most if not all the other validation errors will go away.

    page.php was not likely the correct place to look, my bad … and my apologies.
