• In widgets, when I click the + button (inside the widget) to add a block to a widget, then click Browse All, the modal closes. This is unexpected and non-functional behavior. This happens across multiple sites with many different themes. It happens in sites with no plugins. Instead, if I hit the blue + at the top of the widget page, a fly out appears and I can see all of the available blocks and add one to the widget.

  • I don’t have a “Browse All” there. I would therefore be interested:
Which WordPress version are you using?
    Which theme is active?
Does the problem also exist if you deactivate all plugins?

I am using the latest edition. I get a modal that shows 6 block types and under that is a black Browse All button. It’s not plugin dependent. We are building a theme and when there were no plugins and nothing but page margins in the theme it was like this. Maybe you don’t see them because your theme removes it.

Ah, now I can reproduce it. You mean the plus button in the area where the widgets are edited. I thought you meant the plus button at the top left.

I would recommend that you open an issue with the Gutenberg team so that they can look at it and rate it: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues
