Weird behaviour – not smushed > manually smushed > no updates

    Using the current version of WP Smush.
    It worked for months but lately it stopped to autosmush images.

    After manually bulk-smushing the files, media library said ‘Already Optimized’ instead of the stats next to the image.

    No error is given. Only GTmetrix is complaining that the images are not optimized and after a check, it’s true – filesize is the same as before.

    I did some tests on my installation and both PNG and JPG images I used for testing got smushed without any issues.

    I would like to perform a test with the images that are giving you troubles if you can send them to me.
