Weird behaviour on category descriptions in WooCommerce

    I think I am experiencing the same issue as another thread on this support forum, but have been asked to open a separate topic. The issue is this:

    The rich text editor appears as expected on the WooCommerce category descriptions (which is basically just a custom taxonomy) when the plugin is activated, and when I paste/edit text in the content description and save it, it appears on the website, but when I try to go back in and re-edit the content, it flashes up for a split second and then disappears.

    At this point it is still visible on the website, but if I save the blank content at this point, it all disappears.

  • Hello! Have you found any solution for it? I have similar problem with standard code. And with certain categories, not all. I’f i paste text in, hit update, and return to edit, all text is dissapeared.

    Unfortunately not. I had to abandon this approach to the project as I couldn’t find a reliable way to have rich text content for category descriptions. Sorry.
