Weird dark bar over menu making it unreadable

Hello,
Since I’ve updated 2 plugins and removed another 3, there is a dark bar over my menu, making the items unreadable. I tried to change that through customize (I use twenty fourteen) and I added the code menu: transparant. Neither worked. Is there anyone here who can help me? I’m not exactly a WP wizard and I just can’t find where things (suddenly) went wrong…
