Weird download number

    Hi
    My friend launched an ebook (pdf/epub) last week and I’m using your plugin to track the count.
    One morning when I checked the count, there was something wrong. The pdf version was downloaded 12 000 times ! which is impossible because we don’t have much traffic on the website.
    I checked the Monitor Logs, and I see the same IP adress hundreds of time coming from a Chrom Mobile (android device). This might be an error and o a kind of hack.
    Is there a way to remove this ip and all entries from this only ip on the logs and update the count ? I tried to delete manually a few but it doesn’t change anything in the count.
    Due to this issue, I can’t track properly our statistics..

    This does seem like someone was intentionally downloading the files multiple times. You can block such a user by adding their IP address to the block list in the “Downloads > Settings > Access (tab)” menu in your WordPress admin.

    Also, as of now, there is no way to reset the download count. You could only do it by directly editing your database. Also in the “Download > Settings > Log (tab)” you can enable “count unique IP only” option so if a user from same IP downloads multiple times, it would be considered as 1 download only.
