    Since a few days the icon changed showing some weird signs.. I did install WPML during that time.

    Could you confirm that if only using Quick view and woocommerce as active plugins while using a default wp theme the problem is still there?

    I found the culprit. In my theme I had to add “U” so the search icon would show. But WPML translated it, hence the weird icon.
