weird image issue in safari

had a new theme developed for one of my sites…

it looks fine… but there’s a weird thing happening with most of the images on the site… they look REALLY bad… poor quality.

However…

When you view the blog on firefox or any other browser, they look fine.

I checked the images on my computer locally and the images look fine… they looked fine in the previous theme…. and look like crap in safari (mac).

i saw a thing pop up on safari when i was checking out the theme… shift+a made the images better quality… but thats not working now.

anyone have any similar issues?

more importantly, how do you fix this?

its really annoying and i don’t want my readers to see the blog like that.
