I’m trying to integrate FacetWP and Relevanssi for my search but I’m having some weird issues.

    1. If I use the relevanssi suggested approach, FacetWP doesn’t work & the list of results look good.

    2. If I use the basic WP_Query(), no result printed, but FacetWP shows the right number of results.

    What’s wrong here?

Do you have the FacetWP Relevanssi integration plugin? It needs to be active, if you have facets in your search (if you don’t, it needs to be inactive).

The second example is not the basic WP_Query: it’s actually the right way to use Relevanssi in a WP_Query. If you want to see results without Relevanssi, don’t set the relevanssi flag to true.

    Hi Mikko,

We have the FacetWP Relevanssi integration, and it has already been activated. We would like to see results from Relevanssi that’s why we set the relevanssi flag to true

Is there any problem with our Custom Query?

    Hi Mikko,

I know – that’s what the discussions and the documents say. That’s why it’s weird to me.

We do have FacetWP Relevanssi addon enabled and set. So it’s very weird to see FacetWP showing empty for 1/

But as soon as I changed the code to be as 2/, no result shown anymore.

What happens if you disable the FacetWP Relevanssi addon? How does that affect this?

I can’t really help much with this, I don’t know much about FacetWP. Has FacetWP support had any ideas about this?

Let me check it again with FacetWP. This is very weird because on another installation, it’s working. Maybe it’s version compatibility issue.

There was a problem with our custom query, but we have found and resolved the issue. It is now working fine for us. @ngoclx and I are workmates, so you can close that ticket.
    Thank you for your support!

So the idea is – if the bridge plugin is installed, no need for relevanssi=true. It’s handled by the bridge. And no need for ‘s’ = keyword either, that’s handled by facetwp.

    Ok, good to know!
