weird issues – pages return to default template, page and menu change order

  • hi i ve been building a website that has about 100 pages several days now..almost finishing.. when i noticed some weird issues that i cannot understand how are happening, and honestly without doing something to make them…

    1st: menu issue (re-order)
    after a while, as i’m adding pages and then adding them to the menu, i noticed that without me moving them, when i press save they change order…not all of them but enough to cause re-order issues…and that happens enough times already..imagine that i have almost 100 pages…

    2nd: pages issues (re-order)
    as i said above, while i’m creating the pages and save them, i noticed also here that sometimes, not as many as the 1st issue, the order have changed, and i had to re-arrange them…

    3rd: pages issues (return to default template)
    that was something that i noticed last, and unfortunately haven’t find yet the time to re-arrange it..
    as i created the pages, i went and create sidebars, following instructions, going to widget area and setting them up and then choose them inside page creation.
    then i choose also the page template to be left sidebar, so i can show them…
    but as i finished with the creation of the pages, i sadly noticed that in many pages (thankfully not to all) the page template returned to default instead where i ve set it to be…

    now why are these above issues happening? am i doing something that shouldn’t?
    what might that be?

    ps: i was thinking before setting down the structure of the website with “pages” the option of doing it with “posts”, but it seems that me and posts…on creating this particular website don’t get along very good…it just didn’t gave the options that pages gave me as you can… (meaning the page template option primary and perhaps..some other thing that ive got used to while i’m building websites with “pages” instead of “posts”). am i thinking for the specific website structure from a wrong point of view, or am i right? if wrong what would you propose so i could have the same result with posts, as i have with pages?

    Are you using a custom menu?

    No just from the Appearance -> Menu
