Weird jitter when opening

Hi Rob, Vimeo links should always open with fade effect. And looking at your site, it does open with fade but then there is indeed that weird bounce. I’m not sure why this is happening on your site.

It might have something to do with the “border-box” sizing that is being used by the theme for all elements. Or it could be another script that is interfering…

In any case, I did notice two (un-/related?) errors that should be resolved. One coming from the Typekit script https://use.typekit.net/ynw5acs.js (is the theme using Typekit or another plugin?) :

But I cannot say if resolving these issues would solve the bouncing effect.

I’ve deactivated the two plugins that were causing those errors. When i click on the play button, the video still does an awkward diagonal slide to the center position. Any ideas where else to check for the cause of this? I think i could deal with it if it was just top to center or something. But the diagonal transition is awkward.
