Weird layout on author page

    I’ll check and see if there is an alternative.

    That code is used to retrieve the Google+ avatar image of the author (used to provide the link to Google+ so the author’s image will appear in Google search results).

    Although I wonder if there is an alternative because if your host blocks that then they are likely blocking any outbound communication from your host.

    I’ll look into testing if it is available and then disabling showing the Google+ avatar in the /bio/ page when it is not.

    Thanks, any help would be great going forward as I would really love to use this plugin!

    Did you ever fix this? I am getting the same error (author page, displaying author social bio in upper LH corner, above all content)

    Using Genesis, and Epik child theme.
