Weird menu items' behaviour in IE 11

    In IE 11 when you click the burger icon, the sidebar menu appears. And the vertical spaces between the items is big.

    However, if you simply run the mouse over the menu from top to bottom, then they suddenly jump up and the space is much smaller.

    Opera 12 (the Presto one) renders everything as the second screenshot, which I presume is the correct way. Chrome probably does the same, but unfortunately cannot check that since I do not intend to install it.

    According to NetMarketShare stats, IE 11 share is even slightly large than Chrome 46. Which means that a significant number of users is going to be affected.
