weird message upon update

    After updating lite version plugin, I get the message “Your PHP Version (5.4.19) is far too old. Please upgrade immediately.” – with a link. Could not log in, view site, etc., until I disabled the plugin.

    Oh, I see. Minimum Requirements

    WordPress 4.6 or greater
    PHP version 5.5.38 or greater
    MySQL version 5.1 or greater

    My host doesn’t offer higher than 5.4.
