Weird Names Coming out of this Plugin

    I just wanted to add this to a website. Then I tested it. But it did the following renaming:

    From: aa?o?u?.png
    To: aacc88occ88ucc88.png

    Is this supposed to happen? I think it looks kinda ugly and should probably look something like the following: aaeoeue.png

    Am I missing something? Is this normal? What can I do to fix it?

  • confirming this. it converts german “Umlauts” like “ü” to “ucc88” which is not good. Would be nice to convert them like
    ü => Ue
    ü => ue
    ? => Ae
    ? => ae
    ? => Oe
    ? => oe
    ? => ss

    I am not going to use this hence.
