  • Hi @adrianturbay83 This is Wolf from the Events Calendar team. I am so sorry that you are having this problem.

Performance issues with our plugins typically have a couple of different causes, so lets look at them and see if we can figure out what is going on in your case.

First, do you have a large number of events? This is both current and previous events as even past events will remain in the database and over time can cause performance issues. The solution to this is to do a database cleanup to remove all of the old events.

Secondly, caching can be an issue. Are you using any optimization plugins? How about a CDN? If yes to either of those, please try to temporarily disable them and see if that makes any difference. If it does, then you need to go over the settings in that plugin/CDN to see which setting is interfering.

Finally, there could be a plugin/theme conflict so we should test for that too. Please do this using the instructions found here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/

Please let me know if any of this helps and thank you for using The Events Calendar.

    Hi there!

This thread has been inactive for a while so I’ll be marking it as Resolved.

Please feel free to open a new thread if any other questions come up and we’d be happy to help.

    Best regards,

    Marho
