Weird placeholder in search box

I just came here to say I had this problem too. Seems it’s because I added that Country field from the address field just as the fix notes say. The fix seems to change the placeholder back to just say “Select” instead of saying “Select Country”. Is there a way to choose what placeholder text you want?

Please try editing the snippet provided above by changing:

– on line 28 to:

var placeholder = 'Select Country';

– remove lines 30-34
