Invalid Post Type when adding pages (theme specific)

    Hey Guys, somehow playing round with the code on my site i have created a monster! Basically i have a blog that i decide to add a static landing page to, I run the suffusion theme that i have fiddled with a bit to customise.

    I added the static page and had everything working perfectly but now something has broken and when i look at the Admin-> Settings -> Reading, page where I should be able to select the home page and blog page this option is not available,

    If i change the theme to TwentyThirteen then it shows correctly and i can get the pages to work as they should,

    I have tried deactivating all plugins and that has no effect.

    I think the reason its not working is because due to some corruption wordpress doesnt think i have any pages when suffusion is the active theme, because if i try to add a new page when Suffusion is active I get an error message, “Invalid Post Type” and noting happens.

    Looking at the wp-admin/post-new.php file I can see the line that is generating the “Invalid Post Type” when i try to create the new page.

    I just cant understand why changing the theme changes this as its all being driven by the WP-admin side of things??

    No one?!

    I am beginning to suspect its possibly a javascript bug, but i dont have the ability to troubleshoot it.
