Weird redirecting issue to different domain

    I moved a site1.com to a different server that also has site2.com (still just a VM, edited local hosts file to access it)
    It works fine for a few hours and then it suddenly gets partially broken where some resources called in wp_head() get replaced with ww.site2.com (completely different site on the same server with only two w!)
    Right now even admin panel of site1 gets redirected to ww.site2.com/wp-admin

    Temporary fix
    I can fix this issue by opening phyMyAdmin and reimporting the original sql from site1, but that only works for a few hours.

    Tried
    We searched everywhere for “ww.site2” and it is nowhere mentioned. Virtual hosts file on the server is fine

    Any ideas?

    I figured it out: bot was exploiting a vulnerability and kept changing siteurl in MySQL DB. If WordPress admin login page access is restricted to our IP there is no issue, but as soon as we allow other IPs it would get changed.
