Weird redirects with made up URL’s

  • Received an email from a .ru address. Typical spam/cracker thing. Of concern, however, is that it gave a link in the email that looked like:
    https://mydomain.com/?go=buy-augmentin.htm

    Instead of doing nothing, it redirected to a spammish site.

    I’m quite concerned. The site was recently upgraded to 2.3.3.

    Why is it happening, and what can be done to solve it?
