Weird search URL at my site

  • Looking through 404 logs, I came across a URL referrer which I will add to my blocked referrers. But it’s the URL they went to/looked for that makes me think, ” what the &$ #%€￡￥!!”.

    /jcrettkaureewhwfb/spnqwdeubqrfnnebufyqbjqreyucyy/class.class

    What could they be searching for? Did a plugin get hacked so they search to find if I have it, to exploit me?

    I won’t publicly post the referring URL.

  • That looks like the results of someone testing an exploit kit and didn’t get the settings right.

    Every week or so I get a strange similar URL where it ends with class.class and begins with letters making no sense.
