Weird Text Garbled after restoring site

    I migrated my site from one host to another (I have migrated several without issue), however now in a particular part of the page (not everywhere), text is being garbled:

    eg:
    Please be advised

    is showing as:
    Pleasea€? a€?bea€? adviseda€? a€

    It’s weird as if I move it back to the previous host it shows correctly, and I have moved several sites between the same 2 hosts without issue.

    Any idea what may be causing this. I read about the encoding UTF-8 but wouldn’t that affect all text?

    It is in a `callout box’ from a page editor, which I thought may be the issue, but not all the text is garbled just some of it?

    Ask your web hoster. You pay for support, and nobody knows the internals better.

    If you are using gzip compression or any of you cache plugins do gzip compression, try tuning it off.
