Welcome bar close button opens new blank page

Hi Gal,

What info do you need? This is the website: https://www.polska-parafia-huddersfield.net

and when you click on “x” to close welcome bar – it closes it but opens new blank tab, which is very annoying ??

There’s some code in your website’s that adds target=_blank to the X link

Thank you for your reply and time you spent. I removed every single code from my theme including “target=_blank” and it still opens new tab.

@hamurette this is the first time an issue like this is reported, as you can see in the video the target=_blank code isn’t coming from our codebase.
If you want we can try to check your website, but I’ll need you to set up a sandbox of your website and send me creds so we can dig deeper
