Welcome e-mail doeasn't get sent

same problem, but I am using this plugin with WP 4.2.2…perhaps it does not work with latest?

well, I figured out why it wasn’t getting sent…it will only send if the checkbox “Send this password to the new user by email.” is checked. But if I have an outside plugin authenticating, it won’t work.

Stephen – This is a default wordpress behavior which we can’t change.

Iryna – We Have tested the plugin and cannot replicate your problem – can you tell us what plugins you have installed?

Not compatible since WordPress 4.3+! New registers cannot receive password email.

Probably the main reason is that the function wp_new_user_notification() in wp_includes\pluggable.php is very different since in WP 4.3+ from that in WP 4.2.5.

Confirmed NOT sending out mail to users in latest WP (October 2015). Please fix!

this plugin is what I was looking for in a easy, elegant way but it doesn’t send emails to external addresses. Are you going to solve the problem in the short term?

I’m interested in using it.
