Welcome Email admin message after unconfirmed resend

  • The “Welcome Email Sent!” admin message continues to show up when loading up a Page in WP. It started after I resent the unconfirmed emails a reminder to confirm their address. I was concerned that it was resending over and over again, spamming those that haven’t confirmed yet.

    I added myself as an unconfirmed and, thankfully, it’s not resending, however the admin message persists and I’m not sure when or how it will go away.
