Welcome email images and smilies away

    I’m currently using the starter plan for testing. I’ll be launching my startup soon and then upgrading to the business plan.

    Now unfortunately I have an issue:

    I have set up a welcome email that current test users of my portal receive after registration. All going well.

    But as of today, all smilies and pictures have disappeared from the template of the welcome email. These are through ????? been replaced. My test users are now receiving a very ugly welcome email that looks very disturbing.

    What can we do? Of course, that shouldn’t happen when the beta phase is over.

  • Same issue, my welcome emails wont even come through as they’re just paused. But when they do come through (when forced) they’re completely blank. Someone definitely broke this release.

    Can you confirm if you’ve set up a Welcome Email by following this guide: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/345-create-a-welcome-email or if you’ve set up a Welcome Email via the Automation Feature?

    Can you send us a direct link to your registration form so we can test this out?

    Can you confirm what version of the MailPoet plugin you are using? Can you kindly confirm when you started noticing this?

    Have you tried creating other emails for testing like newsletters? are only welcome emails affected?
