    Hello, I read on one of the reviews a complaint that states: ““For example, No welcome email is sent to subscribers & no notifications sent when someone subscribes even though these settings are checked on mailchimp.com.” There was no response on that thread and this is something important that I need to know. So is this true or not?

    Please note that we are not affiliated with MailChimp.com. We are the developers of the plugin “MailChimp.com”.

    The “Welcome Email” and notification is sent from MailChimp.com and not our plugin. If you have enabled “Double Opt-in” in our plugin settings and “Welcome Email” in your MailChimp.com account, then a user will get the “Welcome Email” after they subscribe and confirm their email.

    Also, please note that the email delivery also depends on how well you have setup your email & SPF records.

    I have disabled double opt-in and enabled welcome email in mailchimp.com account, but customers dont get any welcome email anyway

    How can it be fixed?

    Hello,

    Please note that the welcome email is only sent by MailChimp if you have “Double Opt-in” enabled. Please enable it and test again.
