    I hope someone can help with this.
    Customers are signing up to the newsletter as 1st time users, receiving the confirmation/opt in email, after they click this, successful page redirect says “You have successfully subscribed to… ” page.

    But the customer never receives the welcome email that should come next.

    All plugins are up to date.

    I have just tested it and it is definitely not working. It doesn’t even add my email address to the newsletter list even after Ive confirmed my subscription.

    I cant work it out?

  • I’m maybe not fully understanding your issue. But if emails are not being sent, first check you are using the MailPoet sending service. If you are, make sure your web site has SSL correctly installed. I had issues where SSL wasn’t installed and the mail service would not connect with my web site because it was assumed as ‘unsafe’.

    Im using MailPoet server, and SSL. The emails are getting through for confirmation eg click the link to confirm your subscription, but the welcome emails are not coming through after that. The email addresses aren’t saving on the subscription list either.

    I have a problem where the first email (click this link to confirm subscription) is received, but even if the user does not click the link, they are subscribed. I’m using the mailpoet sending service, so the double opt-in is mandatory but I do not know how to control this automatic subscription.
    If you click ‘view subscribers’ on the list you should see the names and email addresses, so emails “should” be saved?

    Same issue…no welcome emails being sent out…saying scheduled not sent…and confirmation of email arrive but once clicked does not change subscriber to confirmed status in subscribers area…please help!!!

    grabs my attention, as I think the problem here is not about the welcome emails not sent but the visitors not added as Subscribers to your list (hence the Welcome Email not triggered).

    Could you create a different form to test? Then create also a testing welcome email tied to the list where the form is linked to. Then try to subscribe with your email and see if the process works as expected. Please also let us know your site’s URL.
