Well, There Goes Yet Another Plugin I was Fond Of – Removing It Now

I’m not sure what possessed management & design at ExactMetrics to drastically (and poorly) redesign what was an easy-to-use and compact, concise plugin, but unfortunately that’s exactly what happened.
As of today the compact dashboard design is gone and now a very large and cumbersome display format is there. Data viewing options are no longer as easy (and fast) as the original drop-down window for the various Analytics data like top pages.
Top pages is now a paid view in a separate open/close drop-down tab which is less convenient to use. The current last 30 day traffic (you’re limited to 30 day view ONLY now in the Lite version) also displays the data in an odd way unlike the previous streamlined & concise graph format.
Very disappointed with the new design. I’m the type of person who doesn’t mind paying for useful benefits, but the new format is way too impractical and not helpful I think. Sadly, it takes away the main reason I used and recommended GADforWP in the past: it used to be easy to use and easy to see with everything in one convenient spot.
I’m uninstalling it now. Oh well, not the first time a plugin provider has done this. Off to the other options I go…
