Wesbite Really Slow

have you tried deleting revisions? I tried once and reduced the database to about half.

Backup first.

It loads pretty fast to me, however on posts where you have your “custom” login is where it gets slower. If this is a plugin, please make sure that it’s up to date, compatible with your WordPress and/or doesn’t “mess” with WordPress files.

Just want to share something else, when I opened your site in IE, the browser crashed.

You see the weird characters above, you have several pages long of codes like that in your header area. Check that plugin first and try it again.

Thanks Emil. You are right…I saw in page source as well. I belive it was the code to the favicon….So I deleted it….the only thing is now when I view page src when logged in, I don’t see the code….however I still see it there when I am logged out….Let me know if you can see those characters still.

As far as revisions, I recently got a plug in called revision diet which automatically keeps only 5 revisions of every page.

Do you use a cache plugin of any sort? They normally show cached versions when logged out, and fresh when logged in. May need to reset cache, or wait it out
