WF blocking my own IP….

    G’day,

    I won’t post the screenshots, but basically WF has blocked my own server’s IP address over 6000 times.

    So don’t worry, it is not over 9000.
    Yet.

    Not sure why this is happening, if there is something dodgy going on with my hosting, or WF is having an auto-immune reaction…

  • Hi @henxiaoyi,

    This often happens when the IP detection within Wordfence is pulling the wrong IP address.

    Can you check under Wordfence -> All Options -> How does Wordfence get its IP addresses? You should be able to cycle through the options until one of the detected IP addresses matches your true IP address.
