  • I am having the same problem. It is strange because I host many sites on Dreamhost but only one site is having this issue. I contacted Wordfence and they asked me to contact Dreamhost to find out why it is being flagged. I am waiting to hear back from Dreamhost. I will update you with my progress here.

Thanks for the share. I had also contact dreamhost, but haven’t heard anything in the back and keep getting the notifications in the meantime.

This is what I heard back last night from Dreamhost:

Our security team has reached out to Wordfence directly to discuss the file and why we’ve flagged it. Still waiting on a final determination. In the meantime, you can manually set 644 permissions on the file, should you receive another “Security Alert” about it. I will keep you updated as I hear more!

    Maybe that will help.
