• Wordfence Login Security with WooCommerce alters the login error message to not disclose that an user exists but inserts that message into the wrong place in the DOM. The WF inserts the message before the #primary content area div but this is not the correct place where WooCommerce is concerned.

    Just as mentioned here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wfls-login-error-message/

    See screenshot here: https://ibb.co/j518XKs

I have tried to turn off the option “Don’t let WordPress reveal valid users in login errors” but it still persists.

    How can I fix this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @georgemcentegart, thank-you for getting in touch!

There are a series of WooCommerce selectors that Wordfence already looks for when messaging on-screen and woocommerce-notices-wrapper is not currently in use as it appears in multiple places (as it’s a class rather than unique element ID). This can be an issue with compatibility or ensuring that Wordfence scripts only load where they absolutely have to.

Our changelog is the best place to keep an eye on changes in new plugin versions as we’re unable to update customers on development progress here on the forums, but I have now submitted this as a feature request which will be discussed and considered.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

    Hi Peter,

    Thanks for the quickly reply.

Do you know if this is in the pipeline to be fixed or a workaround?

i have the same problem… could you explain why its not put in the right wrapper?
    .woocommerce-notices-wrapper

as the message is no put first line ob body it gets hidden from header.. so no users can see the message..

please provide some information how to change that…

    thx

    Chris

Yes I still have this issue as well, it would be great to get a solution.

Ideally you should be able to set a class or ID that it looks for in the theme template and generate the notice there.
