• I’m currently running WordPress on a local server (using MAMP on a Mac).

I’ve been experiencing inconsistent behavior when adding or deleting pages. New pages will always show up right away on the nav menu of the HOME page, but not on the nav menu for most of the other pages. Sometimes a new page will show up a little bit later on another page’s nav menu, while still not showing up on other pages.

The same thing has been happening when I delete a particular page. It will disappear from the menu on some pages but not all of them.

    I’ve deactivated all plugins.

This behavior is happening in both Firefox and Safari.

Can someone give me some clues or directions to take in order to solve this issue? This is a mentally grueling dilemma…and I’m stalled at this point.

    Thanks very much.

In the interest of not needlessly abusing the support available on these forums, I wanted to report back that after restoring from an earlier backup and having the pages act normally, I believe my problem had something to do with mangling the CSS. So I’ll consider this issue resolved.

    Thank you.
