• The plugin does not make any useful and it brokes the theme. The one-star grading is based on other experiences what are based on dealing with the BuddyBoss -services.

    We purchased BuddyBoss products with high expectations. The intention was to use their products in our internal training and education. We saw their demos and hands-on Youtube videos where the installation procedure is automatic and works like a clock.

    First problems were in the installation process. It did not completely and despite of given promises, the installation had to finish by our selves. Well, it was ok for then – things happen, that was our impression. The next problems were browser related problems – there were really poor support between different browsers, like Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

    Then there were continuous problems with functionalities. Some features just stopped working without any reason. We didn’t receive any reasonable answers for this problems. At first they wanted the admin account to the site, and then the request was admin password to entire server where we run the site.

    In this point we got enough for this product and service, especially when we inspected theme check. The theme what BuddyBoss was selling was technically crap according to theme check test. We tested default theme what BuddyBoss is selling their website and the theme was already broken from the beginning. There were nothing else installed than themecheck and BuddyBoss products on WordPress.

    We lost huge amount of time and money doing business with BuddyBoss.

    One thing we learned:

    If a software product or service is not available on common market places and the product is available on vendor’s site, do not buy it. Buy products only from common market places. This kind of crap what BuddyBoss sells, can not be available on market places like Envato for example.

    Sorry to hear that you have not had a good experience with our product. You seem to be referring mostly to the product purchased on our website and not this particular plugin.

    Our product does come with an one click installer. Unfortunately, in some server configurations, the installer may not function properly. Which is why your server access was requested while our team was trying to help you.

    I also have a message from you in our support system that says that “it works fine and looks nice” after our support specialist helped install the product on your server. These are two totally opposite feedbacks ??

    You mention that you’ve wasted time and money doing business with BuddyBoss. There is absolutely no need for you to waste your money on something that you’re not happy with. If you don’t like our product and do not plan to use it at all, you’re free to request a refund!

    Once again, we’re sorry to hear that you’ve had a bad experience with our product. Please note that this same product is used to run thousands of other e-learning sites and is loved by thousands of owners and businesses, including Fortune 500 companies.

    Again, if you’re not happy with the product and do not plan on using it, you can request a refund, if you haven’t done so already.

    It really does not make any matter, if you refund worth 200-250$ money, since we have lost more than 120 working hours when we used your product. The price of the one working hour is 60€ for us, so you can see the losses what we had.

    Yes, that was the first impression in the beginning.
    It does not tell even half truth since there were continuous problems during our product development phase which was based on BuddyBoss. When we gave that feedback, everything look well. then but we had no idea how poorly the BuddyBoss products were done.

    I do not think so. And if they do, do they use the same product what you are providing to mass markets? There are several kind of users, like testers and product developers like we are. If somebody purchases and downloads the software, it really does not make them users.

    The fact is that you’re selling products which are not so mature as you let understand. Perhaps the plan in your business case is to sell crap, which force to use your commercial services.

    And one more thing: if the Buddyboss products were so good as your promotion material let understand, why the themes are broken what you sell? Everybody can test the case by using theme checks.

    From our point of view, the case is over. It is good to raise some critic since the net if full of promotional material – it is hard to find any reliable information regarding the BuddyBoss product and service experiences.
