• This is such a bad update in so many ways … time to move to another solution!

Since the 5.0 update all previous settings are lost. I would have to set up more than 30 client sites again!!!! This is insame!!!!!

The UI & UX is just plain horrible. Hard to read font. It was such a great plugin. But now it’s time to say good bye.

    Hi @hyperbrand ,

We’re truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve encountered with the 5.0 update. We understand how frustrating it is to face such changes, especially when managing multiple client sites.

We want to reassure you that all your previous backups remain fully operational, and you can still view your existing jobs in read-only mode from the interface. We’re actively working to restore the ability to edit all parameters and create new backup jobs.

Our intention with the update was to streamline the backup process, but we recognize that it has caused disruptions for many users. We’re committed to restoring key functionalities and improving the user interface and experience, including addressing font readability and usability concerns.

If you prefer, you can revert to version 4.1.7 while we work on these fixes. You may download 4.1.7 through here.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to make BackWPup better.

    The BackWPup Team
