    Hi @lentini84 ,

Probably your theme overrides the needed template files. Can you try to switch to a default theme like “twenty-twenty” or “rookie” please?

    Thanks,
    Savvas

    Hi @lentini84 ,

You can use a 3d-party plugin like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/theme-switcha/ with which you can change temporarily your theme without any hassle for your users.

Alchemists theme is very “aggresive” on template override, thats why my plugin is not working as it should. If you try it with a default theme or Rookie.

    Thanks,
    Savvas

Hi! Savvas and there is no other way? Because this switching theme does not work for us at all. Perhaps you would have a moment to look at it? I am able to pay because I really want it to work. When I switched the theme it worked, but graphically it looked very bad.

    Hi @lentini84 ,

Unfortunately I don’t have an Alchemists license so I cannot check what exactly is the issue.

You can come in contact with Alchemists support team. I am sure that they can assist you!

    Thanks,

“adding compatibility to third-party plugins is not included in support purchase.” :((

    Hi @lentini84 ,

You will need to hire a developer to assist you. As I can see it, you can use a child-theme based on Alchemist (I think that Alchemist already provides a basic child-theme).

Inside child theme, you will create a sportspress folder. In there you will copy two files:
    1. wp-content/themes/alchemist/sportspress/player-statistics-league.php
    2. wp-content/themes/alchemist/sportspress/player-statistics.php

Now give a look at the wp-content/plugins/detailed-player-statistics/templates/ and migrate the changes from those two files to your child-theme files.

I hope that makes sense to you ??

Savvas, thank you so much for your help. Everything works, it just changed the color of the template a bit. But we can do it. I have just one more question – where can I translate the word “performances”? Because I’ve been looking everywhere, but I don’t know …. Thank you in advance ??

I am glad you sorted it out.

“Performances” is translated by “SportsPress” plugin. Give a look here on how to translate the strings you want.

    Thanks,
    Savvas

Savvas, I’ve been looking everywhere. I found the keyword “performance” but not “performances”. In the back end, in the sportspress -> settings -> players, where I can set the details of your plugin, there is also “performances” …

    Hi @lentini84 ,

Performances is under the namespace of sportspress as you can see at detailed-player-stats-for-sportspress.php lines 162, 449 –> ( 'Performances', 'sportspress' )

So you need to translate it through SportsPress translation file.

    Thanks,
    Savvas
