FedEx Developer offers quite a few different APIs to choose from – including tracking, address confirmation, etc. Which API do we need to choose?
I assumed we use the “Ship” API. However when choosing that API, Fed Ex requests that we print and confirm our labels with them by emailing their team and waiting 3 days for a response. This is a little nuts since I have no labels to print.

Clarity on which API to choose and how to avoid FedEx’s API certification process would be appreciated.

    Hi @danajoy,

Thanks for reaching out. Indeed, once you create your FedEx account, you need to request the access to their current REST API. During the process, please select the Rates and Transit Times API, as this is the one needed for our plugin to work.

Please mind that we can only address issues regarding our Shipping Live Rates for FedEx for WooCommerce plugin. We don’t represent FedEx itself, and therefore we can’t address concerns regarding their verification process. In that regard, please reach out to them directly.

Additionally, our plugin currently doesn’t offer printing labels in the WordPress dashboard. This is only available via the FedEx website.

I’m marking this topic as resolved for now. If you’d like to ask about anything else – please open a new thread.

    Kind regards,
    Piotrek
