what are -rect.jpg images?

  • When I upload an image, there is created small 150×150 thumb, I disabled medium and large thumbs, cause I don’t need them, but there are also generated some images in random sizes named “{original name}–{some random numbers}-rect.jpg). I don’t need them, so what are they and how to hack WP to stop making them? Thanks ??
